Harrods Ice Cream Parlour 

Harrods Ice Cream Parlour is a hidden gem, situated on the second floor of the luxury department store. I always make a point of visiting this place on my birthday, it’s one of my all time favourite things to do in London. This place is such a treat; the decor is so bright and fun, and the service really is exceptional – every time I take a trip here, I’m greeted by lovely, welcoming staff, who do their utmost to make me feel extra special.

The Ice Cream Parlour serves 13 different gelato flavours, an abundance of sundaes and desserts, and even offers up milkshakes too – you can also get take out! Now trust me when I say, you are completely spoilt for choice with the extensive menu, therefore I usually like to get a few different sundaes so that my friends and I can share them, and experience the different flavours. However, my eyes also tend to be much larger than my stomach in this place, and I have yet to actually finish a sundae – perhaps if you decide to pop in, you may find you’d be satisfied with simply sharing one. Although, for me London is a treat and therefore I like to go all out… does it really matter if you can’t finish it all?!

If you’re interested in treating yourself, you can view the impressive menu here. Prices start at £13.50 for a sundae, and £4.00 for a drink. It can be pricey, but completely worth it for that special treat. I’d recommend getting here early on a weekend (I usually aim for about 11.30am), if you don’t want a wait… And if you were wondering, the ice cream in the blue bowl was the Harrods Special; and yes, it was as amazing as it looks!
