Ten Things I Love About Autumn

Winter fashion – Scarves, jumpers, coats, boots, pom pom hats, faux fur gilets, mittens. The fashion at this time of the year always has to be the best.

That new feeling September brings – new stationery anyone?

Halloween – I love to get lots of tasty food in (sweets are a must) and spend the evening watching scary films. I also really enjoy going to Alton Towers Scarefest, indulging in sugar donuts and waffles all day, and riding all the rollercoasters in the dark.

The beautiful colours… bright oranges, browns, amber… It all looks so pretty.

All the new TV shows start this season; Bake Off, X Factor, The Apprentice, I’m a Celebrity… the list goes on.

The run up to Christmas excitement. Anyone else already started their Christmas wishlist?! I also may or may not have already chosen an advent calendar.

Hot chocolate, pumpkin spice lattes (who cares if everyone does it, it’s popular for a reason), mulled cider, gingerbread lattes. The winter drinks offering is the best. Oh, and did you know pumpkin spice Baileys is now a thing?!

Blankets, cosy socks, putting the fire on, scented candles, that lovely warm feeling you get when you get home after being outside in the cold.

December – sparkle, spending time with the family, relaxing, eating lots and lots of carbs and chocolate completely guilt free, parties, presents (let’s not lie!) but I do love giving them as much as receiving them, the one off TV shows, having fun and just generally feeing loved.
