Chanel N°5 L’Eau

One of the latest additions of the Chanel perfume house is the N°5 L’Eau Spray. I’d describe this one as a fresh, modern, younger twist on the original Chanel N°5 perfume, and it really doesn’t dissapoint.

It’s predominantly a floral, but a light floral (not powdery), that’s offset with a citrus twist and eventually brings through some musk notes. Although modern, this fragrance still manages to stay luxurious, in homage to the original; I suspect the rose, jasmine and ylang ylang notes help there.

It’s quite a soft scent, so won’t offend anyone in your company, but still manages to last on the skin. Whilst it is a delicate fragrance, I’d still personally select this as more of an evening choice – perhaps because of the luxurious feel to it.

If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll adore this one. It’s the Chanel N°5 for the modern woman and let’s be honest, it will also look amazing sat upon your dressing table. If you’re a frequent reader of my blog, you’ll know that’s always a winner with me.

Chanel N°5 L’Eau Spray is priced at £74 for 50ml and can be purchased here.*
