Spring, I’m a bit obsessed. I love the seasons, and coming in straight after Autumn as my favourite, is Spring for me. That makes me a massive sucker for a Spring fragrance, beauty or fashion piece. Spring is all about blooms in the beauty world isn’t it, so what could epitomise the turning season more than a perfectly pink bottle of perfume aptly named Flower Market.

This one was a blind buy, I didn’t smell it first, instead I just chose to read the reviews and trust it was going to be all I had hoped for. Let’s start with the name, Replica Flower Market – that it is! In fact, I don’t think you could get anything in a bottle that replicates a flower market scent more accurately. That first spritz is absolutely stunning, it’s fresh, it’s exciting, it’s Spring in a bottle! And then that’s it. that’s literally it. £95 worth of fragrance dried down and disappeared into the abyss in about 10 minutes flat.

The first few opening minutes are honestly incredible, but I’m not sure if it’s just me and my own skin / body chemistry, but honestly – I barely smelt anything 10-15 minutes later. Perhaps a faint whiff of a generic, basic, cosmetic smell – but that was it. How extremely disappointing. Maybe it will work on you, as when I was reading other reviews online (that swayed me to make the purchase), I didn’t see this reflected. But at the end of the day, more fool me I guess for blind buying fragrance hey…
