Christian Louboutin Loubikiss Perfume

I’ll be completely honest here, I blind bought this perfume… based on the bottle design only. A bit silly of me, I know, and it could have turned out to be a very expensive, very stupid mistake; luckily, it wasn’t. You see the fragrance is just as special as the bottle itself. A beautiful jasmine and tuberose concoction, that just gets better the longer it’s left to dry down. On top of the floral notes, there’s hits of woody, musky throwing; which add depth and luxury.

I’m not going to lie, these perfumes are expensive, a bit too expensive – and do you need to spend that much on this fragrance? Honestly, no. As much as the scent is stunning, it’s not a drop everything must purchase – as I just don’t think it fits into its own league in terms of uniqueness. However… that being said, if you love fragrance, and are a bit of a collector like I am; this is one you may want to invest in. The perfume screams luxury – you can tell as soon as you spray it, it’s not cheap nonsense, and it lasts for as long as you’d expect with the price point too. I would however like the projection to be a bit stronger – although I do like my perfumes extremely strong – and that’s where this one falls down slightly for me. That being said, I’m still very glad I purchased this one; even though I’m not sure if it will be a repeat purchase just yet – I think I need to wear it for a few more special occasions first, before I completely make my mind up.

A slightly mixed review here, I know. The perfume is amazing, the bottle is incredible, but… I just want that tiny bit more for the price point.

So glad to hear the fragrance matches the bottle, as the bottle sure is beautiful! I’ve added this to my ‘to test’ list xx
