What I’m Reading This Month

Right, I’ll be honest – I can’t possibly review every single one of these, as between balancing a full time job, professional exams, a blog, and trying to have a social life, I haven’t quite found the time to get through them all. But, I am really excited by my new pile; and really looked into them before I purchased. There’s a big mix here, we have glamorous, girly, fantasy, essays, psychological thrillers, drama, and even short story collections. I’ve been trying to branch out a bit in terms of my genres and try some different kinds of books (because I pretty much just read psychological thrillers, mainly) – so here you go, here’s my latest pile, just in case you’re after some new book inspiration yourself. Ooh and… they’re almost all female authors too! Enjoy.

Once Upon A River – Diane Setterfield

How Could She – Lauren Mechling

Interpreter of Maladies – Jhumpa Lahipi

My Year of Rest and Relaxation – Ottessa Moshfegh

Dare Me – Megan Abbott

I’ll Tell You in Person – Chloe Caldwell

You’re Leaving When? – Annabelle Gurwitch
