There’s a bit of a sale on at Mulberry at the moment… and it’s all getting a bit exciting. The Mulberry sales are always one of my favourites – and, in my opinion, the best – as you can genuinely get some really good deals. You see they don’t just discount the end of season stock on there, they actually have the staple essentials reduced such as the black handbags, and – for example, this beautiful rosewater colour… then once the sale is over, that same bag will shoot back up to full price, but still remain an on trend piece. It’s a real winner I think.

I’ve toyed with the idea of a Mulberry bag in the beautiful rosewater colour before, but I’ve never been too sure if the colour was just too pink for me or not… really, I should have just gone in the store to look at the colour in person – but when there’s a sale on, who has time for that?! There’s bargains to be snapped up! Anyway, I obviously took the plunge and went for it, and oh my goodness I don’t know why I didn’t go for this colour sooner. It’s – as the name would suggest – a stunning rose colour (seriously, stunning) – but is it too pink? No. It’s more of a nude, blush, pale pink tone – as oppose to a pink, pink bag. It’s actually very different to any other of the mainstream popular bag colours too, so if you’re after a “nude” top handle bag, that will actually stand out from the usual, it’s a great choice.

As usual, I went for the grained leather – much less viable to scratching, and a lot easier to clean down – although I’m not sure this is even available in a smooth leather, so that may already be decision made for you! I got this in the “small” size, and it’s really spacious, and also comes with a shoulder strap, so can be worn as a top handle, or a shoulder bag. I’ve been using it for about two months now, and so far haven’t had any wear and tear issues – but it is obviously early days – that being said, I have always found Mulberry to be great for wear and tear… otherwise I wouldn’t keep buying them. The bag is also really secure too, and has a nice easy fastening to get in and out.

Is this one a keeper? Absolutely. I really, really love the colour and the design of it. I also think it’s a great colour choice for both summer and winter – and I just wish I’d taken the plunge with this colour sooner. Happy sales shopping!
